Having decided I wanted to upgrade to larger tires I simply copied Nic’s Overland Truck Bucky<\/a> and brought a set of custom wheels from Stazworks<\/a>. He takes US military wheels designed for an MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle, adds a custom-made mounting ring and powder coats them. They are exceedingly pretty!<\/p>\n

Not only are they bigger, but because they are made from aluminum, they are much lighter than the DAF’s steel wheels. To be specific they are:<\/p>\n

• 8×275 221mm bore, 1\u201d lug hole<\/li>\n
• Tall lip 1199<\/li>\n
• Satin black back<\/li>\n
• Gunmetal front<\/li>\n
