<\/a><\/p>\n Whilst cleaning the engine, ready for painting, I got a little concerned about the amount of rust on the flywheel. After removing it, I noticed some pretty extensive heat cracks, but thought they could be removed by having it resurfaced.<\/p>\n So, I took it to Seattle Brake and Clutch<\/a>, who had previously been very helpful getting new brake shoes and surfacing the drums. Unfortunately, once I got it back it was clear that a replacement was in order, one crack still being wider enough to fit my nail into it.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n So, it was replaced with Cummins 4080744 Flywheel, which, for reference has 159 teeth, measuring 392mm, or 408mm including the teeth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Whilst cleaning the engine, ready for painting, I got a little concerned about the amount of rust on the flywheel.
