The Overland Truck community has been a constant source of inspiration for us. Here’s some of the trucks that we follow, and hope to meet at some point!

Penelope
Kerry & Craig, from the UK, built their Overland truck Penelope around the time that we brought Eva. Their YouTube channel was extremely timely and gave us a lot of useful tips on how to approach our build.
Bucky
Nic's Overland Truck was one of the earliest based on the DAF T244. We have copied a lot of details of his build, including the wheels and tire upgrade. Based on Canada Nic has helped us a ton with a constant flow of stupid questions.
Build It Overland
Eva and Build It Overland are on a similar timeline, so this build has provided timeline coverage of the steps other people go to convert a DAF T244.
Manfred and the Fam
Manfred was completed just as we purchased Eva and really helped us be confident that you can turn a 30-year-old truck into a beautiful home on 4x4 wheels. For a long time, our internal layout was going to be a direct copy, but no matter what we end up with it'll be strongly influence the aesthetics of the interior.
Matilda
Built by Matthew Payne and his friend, Matilda has been a constant source of inspiration for us. They travelled all the way to Mongolia and back again, surviving extremely harsh weather and road conditions. Along the way Matthew has taken amazing photos that he shares on his Instagram.
